Where It All Started

I did not grow up in a family where becoming a doctor or a Reseacher felt like an obvious path. I grew up in a middle-class home — where every rupee had a purpose, where education mattered enormously but expensive coaching felt like a luxury we had to think twice about. I watched classmates go to coaching institutes in bigger cities. I stayed back and figured out how to compete with what I had.

That experience — of wanting something deeply and having to work twice as hard to get it because of money — never left me. It became the reason I teach the way I do. It became the reason Biology300+ exists at ₹299.

My story

Before I taught biology, I lived inside it. For five years, I worked as a researcher at some of India's most respected scientific institutions — DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), CSIR-IHBT (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research), and Delhi University. I qualified CSIR NET JRF — one of the most demanding biology examinations in the country — achieving All India Rank 62 and AIR 70.

Only a fraction of India's biology graduates ever clear this examination. It tests not what you have memorised, but what you truly understand at the molecular, cellular, and ecological level.

Those five years in research changed the way I see biology forever. When I explain DNA replication to a NEET student today, I am not reading from a textbook.

I am explaining a process I have studied at the research level — the same process that scientists at DRDO work with in real laboratories.
